Placka (Old Town Athens)

I decided to have a go at this scene because it would help develop my texturing skills, something I have little experience of, usually using blender for product modelling and design. It came about after a trip to Athens where I managed to grab a few hours to look around. I loved the Plaka area, the Café culture and steep narrow alleyways. The character of the old buildings was fabulous. I have tried to recreate the same sun baked character of the old town.

I thought I would continue with the rab Chronograph model and added a case. This is a project I have been working on to help develop my mesh modelling techniques. The aim was to achieve an image that would be up to the standard that's needed to use in marketing shots, for a watch of this type. The next stage for me is to concentrate on textures as these are my weak point at the moment.

I am fairly new at CG and not trained in graphic design so any pointers or C & C will be greatly appreciated.
